Founder's Edition — 500 Units
Know what
you're breathing.
Real-time air quality monitoring meets lab-grade genetic testing. For the air your family breathes.
50%
of homes have undetected mold
5×
more polluted indoors vs. out
90%
of time spent breathing indoor air
Standard monitors count particles. They can't tell you what they are.
01 — Monitor
Always watching.
PM2.5, PM10, VOCs, CO₂, CO — tracked continuously and displayed on the e-ink screen and in your app.
02 — Sample
Capture what you breathe.
The built-in cartridge collects a representative air sample over hours, days, or weeks. Mail it back in the pre-paid envelope.
03 — Analyze
Lab-grade answers in 48 hours.
Microscopy and qPCR genetic testing identify specific mold species, allergens, and pathogens — with recommendations in your app.
Hoom One
Designed to disappear
into your home.
Compact. Quiet. Powerful enough to change how you think about the air you breathe.

The Difference
Sensors tell you it's bad. Hoom tells you why.
What others do
- PM2.5 & PM10 levels
- VOC concentration
- CO₂ levels
- CO detection
Tells you how much. Not what.
What Hoom does — in addition
- Mold species identification & quantification
- Airborne allergen detection
- Pathogen screening via qPCR
- Actionable health recommendations
- Service provider connections
Tells you exactly what's in your air — at the species level.

What makes Hoom different from Airthings or Awair?+
Those devices measure particles in real time — useful, but limited. Hoom One does that too, but also collects physical air samples analyzed via microscopy and qPCR genetic testing. We identify specific mold species, allergens, and pathogens — something no sensor can do.
How does the air sampling work?+
Hoom One has a built-in cartridge that collects air over hours, days, or weeks — capturing a true representative sample. Remove the low-profile sample and mail it in the included pre-paid envelope.
How long for lab results?+
48 hours from when our lab receives your sample. Clear breakdown of findings, health implications, and actionable steps — all in the app.
How often should I test?+
Two lab tests per year are included. Most people test seasonally or after events — water damage, allergy season, or unexplained symptoms.
What is the Founder's Edition?+
